At Digistra Wave Enterprise, we aim to provide clear and transparent terms for cancellations and refunds relating to webinars, subscriptions, and other paid digital learning services available through digistrawave.com.
This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains when cancellation or refund requests may be considered, how webinar changes are handled, and circumstances where refunds may be limited.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to eligible purchases made directly through Digistra Wave for:
- Paid webinar registrations;
- Learning subscriptions;
- Digital webinar access;
- Eligible webinar recordings;
- Paid learning resources; and
- Other digital professional learning services offered through Digistra Wave.
Additional terms displayed for a particular webinar, subscription, or promotion at the time of purchase may also apply.
2. Webinar Cancellation by a Participant
If you purchase access to a webinar and later cannot attend, you may submit a cancellation request before the scheduled session.
Requests should be submitted as early as reasonably possible.
Eligibility for a cancellation or refund may depend on:
- The webinar purchased;
- Timing of the request;
- Whether webinar access has already been provided;
- Whether associated digital resources have been accessed; and
- Any specific conditions displayed when purchasing the webinar.
Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically guarantee a refund.
3. When a Refund May Be Considered
Subject to applicable law, a refund may be considered where:
- Digistra Wave cancels a paid webinar without providing a reasonable alternative;
- A verified duplicate payment occurs;
- Payment is completed but Digistra Wave cannot provide the purchased service because of an issue attributable to us;
- A refund is expressly available under the conditions of the purchased service; or
- Applicable consumer law requires a refund.
Each request may be reviewed based on the circumstances of the transaction.
4. Circumstances Where Refunds May Not Apply
Subject to mandatory consumer rights, refunds may not normally be provided where:
- A participant fails to attend a scheduled webinar;
- Incorrect contact information supplied by the user prevents delivery of access information;
- The user’s internet connection, browser, device, or software prevents attendance;
- Webinar access has already been substantially used;
- Eligible digital materials or recordings have already been accessed;
- The user changes their mind after substantial digital service delivery;
- The account has been used in violation of our Terms and Conditions; or
- The service has otherwise been provided as described.
Nothing in this section removes rights that users are entitled to under applicable law.
5. Cancellation by Digistra Wave
Digistra Wave may occasionally need to cancel a scheduled webinar because of presenter unavailability, technical difficulties, operational requirements, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where a paid webinar is cancelled, affected users may, depending on the circumstances, be offered:
- Access to a rescheduled webinar;
- Transfer to an appropriate alternative session;
- Account credit where available and agreed; or
- An eligible refund.
The appropriate solution will depend on the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.
6. Rescheduled Webinars
Sometimes a webinar may need to be moved to a different date or time.
Where a significant schedule change occurs, Digistra Wave will seek to notify registered participants through the contact information associated with their registration.
If the new schedule is unsuitable, affected users may contact:
support@digistrawave.com
We will review the available options based on the relevant booking and circumstances.
7. Subscription Cancellation
Users may request cancellation of an eligible Digistra Wave subscription according to the terms applicable to their plan.
Where recurring subscriptions are offered, cancellation generally prevents future renewal according to the applicable subscription conditions.
Cancellation does not automatically mean that payments already made for an active or previously used subscription period will be refunded.
Any subscription-specific billing, renewal, or cancellation terms displayed at purchase will also apply.
8. Digital Content and Recordings
Some Digistra Wave purchases may provide access to recordings, presentations, worksheets, guides, or other digital learning materials.
Because digital content may become available shortly after payment or webinar participation, refund eligibility may become limited after the content has been accessed, streamed, downloaded, or otherwise supplied.
This provision does not restrict mandatory rights available under applicable law.
9. Missed Webinars
Users are responsible for checking webinar schedules, applicable time zones, email communications, and access information.
Failure to attend a webinar after valid access has been provided does not automatically qualify for a refund.
Where an eligible recording is included with the relevant service, participants may receive recording access according to the conditions of that webinar or subscription.
10. Technical Difficulties
Users should ensure that their internet connection, browser, device, and software are suitable for accessing the relevant webinar.
Refunds may not normally be available where access problems arise solely from a user’s own technology or internet service.
If a significant technical problem attributable to Digistra Wave prevents delivery of a paid service, users may contact us so the issue can be reviewed and an appropriate solution considered.
11. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you believe you have been charged twice for the same service or charged an incorrect amount, contact us promptly.
Please provide:
- Your name;
- Account or registration email;
- Webinar or subscription purchased;
- Transaction date; and
- Transaction reference where available.
Do not send complete card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive financial credentials by email.
Verified billing errors will be addressed appropriately.
12. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method where technically and legally possible.
Actual processing times may depend on the relevant payment processor, financial institution, or card issuer.
Digistra Wave cannot control delays caused solely by independent financial institutions or payment service providers.
13. Promotional or Discounted Services
Webinars or subscriptions purchased through promotional pricing, discounts, special campaigns, or limited offers may have additional conditions.
Where special cancellation or refund conditions apply, they should be displayed or communicated with the relevant offer.
Promotional conditions do not override mandatory consumer rights.
14. Certificates
Failure to qualify for a certificate because attendance, participation, or completion requirements were not satisfied does not automatically entitle a user to a refund.
Certificates are provided only where the requirements applicable to the relevant learning activity have been met.
15. Events Outside Reasonable Control
Webinars may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside Digistra Wave’s reasonable control, such as major technology outages, widespread internet failures, natural events, government restrictions, or significant third-party platform disruptions.
Where practical, Digistra Wave may seek to reschedule the affected service or provide another reasonable solution.
Refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.
16. Payment Disputes
If you believe a payment has been processed incorrectly, we encourage you to contact support@digistrawave.com so the transaction can first be investigated.
Nothing in this policy prevents users from exercising legitimate rights available through their financial institution, payment provider, or applicable law.
Fraudulent or intentionally misleading payment disputes may result in account restrictions or further investigation.
17. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
Cancellation and refund requests should be sent to:
support@digistrawave.com
Please include your name, account email, relevant webinar or subscription, transaction reference where available, and the reason for your request.
Providing complete and accurate information helps us identify the relevant transaction.
18. Changes to This Policy
Digistra Wave may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy when its services, subscription arrangements, payment processes, or applicable legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on digistrawave.com.
Changes will not be applied in a manner that unlawfully removes rights already attached to an existing transaction.
